YAY! I love snow when it means I get a snow day!
Classes were canceled at JCCC last night and today because of our snow storm. The college, in Overland Park KS, got around 9″. Here in Higginsville we got around 10″. Its the nice light and fluffy snow that isn’t too bad to drive on once its down, so Tab and I are off to get food for tomorrow’s poker game.
Hopefully I can stop the juggernaut that is Lynne. At any rate, here are some pics of the new snow I took this morning.

safe to drive on??? You must not have had the 2 inches of sleet we had before the snow! It was crazy here today!

No, we only had about 1″ of it. The road crews really did a good job of prepping the roads with CaCl2. Wednesday night and Thursday early morning were rough, but that was it, until the snows came. I’m not saying our road is all perfect, but its safe to drive on if you keep your wits about you.
